From June 13, 2018 to 5 a.m. Friday, Eleazar said 260,442 smokers (23.25 percent) were caught by the police, topping the list of violators. Of the violators, 749,137 were warned for minor violations; 209,926 were fined; while 161,160 others were charged before the court for serious infractions. As of this writing, Eleazar assured that there was no congestion in jails as only four of the violators remained in the detention facility. The four violators were detained at the facilities of the Southern Police District (SPD).
