PETALING JAYA: Organisers of the "405" rally – supposedly being held to defend the sovereignty of Islam – have fully complied with all requirements under the Peaceful Assembly Act and the gathering will be allowed to proceed. Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Fahmi Visuvanathan Abdullah said rally organisers had already submitted a notice to the police over the planned rally. "We met the organisers as well to discuss the rules and regulations for the rally. The rally, which will take place in the city centre, is organised by Gerakan Pembela Ummah and other NGOs. Meanwhile, rally director Kamaruzaman Mohamad called on the participants to adhere to the regulations as it is a peaceful rally.
