Copper Again Falls as China Worries Linger

Copper prices fell again Wednesday, dropping to around their lowest levels since mid-February on continued worries about trade tensions and a slowdown in Chinese economic growth. Copper for July delivery, the most-active futures contract, fell 0.4% to $2.7740 a pound on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Prices have trimmed much of their 2019 advance in recent days, dropping about 6.5% below their nearly 10-month peaks hit in late April.
