SUBANG JAYA: A 29-year-old lance corporal was shot dead in a police station on Jalan TP 7/2 here early Thursday. The victim, believed to be L/Kpl Valentino Mesa, was found in a pool of blood by policemen during a routine patrol stop at Pinggiran Subang Jaya police station around 3.25am. It is learnt that Mesa was on duty alone at the station at the time. Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Mazlan Mansor said policemen arrived to find the station in darkness. Comm Mazlan said there was no CCTV in the police station but police are checking CCTV footage from the surrounding area.
