DAGUPAN CITY — A policeman was killed on Tuesday after he was allegedly shot by two village council members in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, police said. The victim, who was assigned at the Chaplain Service of the Ilocos Regional Police Office in San Fernando City, La Union, died about 10:45 p.m. while being treated at a hospital in Dagupan City. Ramirez’s partner identified Jose de Guzman, 59, and Diosdado Castro, 55, both council members of Barangay Mabalbalino as the suspects. Capoquian said Ramirez may have been killed because of a feud with the suspects. He said De Guzman and Castro, who are now in jail, would face murder cases.
