New Delhi: The vigilance unit of Delhi Police booked an inspector for demanding bribe from an NRI for registering a case based on his complaint. She filed a complaint on behalf of the NRI, alleging that he was cheated by a woman and her three brothers on the pretext of marriage. She recorded their entire conversation using a hidden camera.On Dec 3, the complainant filed a complaint against the inspector at the vigilance unit office. A trap was set to catch Kumar near a hospital, where he was to receive part of the bribe amount, Rs 40,000. However, he sensed the presence of vigilance unit officers and fled.
