The scandal saw thousands of workers, most of whom were foreign students, paid $10 an hour or less. Some workers were paid the correct amount but forced to give back their wages to dodgy franchisees. 7-Eleven Australia in part of a global chain which involves more than 56,000 stores in 16 countries.
