In commemoration of Labor Day, the workers have called for a uniform and increased minimum wage all over the country and an end to “illegal contractualization’’. Calling for the government to protect the interest of Filipino workers, the protesters demanded the government to take action against contractualization. They also reminded President Duterte to “fulfill his campaign promise of putting a real end to illegal contractualization’’.
