The awards are made of three groups, including the CCNZ Hirepool Construction Excellence Awards and the CCNZ Connexis Awards. The Shotover wastewater treatment plant upgrade and Lake's Edge Kawarau Village projects are finalists in the construction excellence awards. The awards recognise excellence in the construction or maintenance of assets and have five categories with 27 finalists. Fulton Hogan Alexandra is a finalist in the company awards for its design work on the Shotover Bridge gas pipeline project. CCNZ chief executive Peter Silcock said the awards were an annual highlight for the civil construction industry and a chance to celebrate the hard and dedicated work CCNZ members undertook on every project.
