(Image: Councillor Sarah Chambers)A council has ordered one of its contractors to clear up the mess that's been left on the side of a Derby road. ‌Waste left behind from work carried out at traffic lights on Arleston Lane, near Ryan Close in Sinfin, appears to have been left uncleared by a Derby City Council contractor for six weeks. ‌"The contractor is being issued a fine for not removing their waste for near on 6 weeks now," she said. A spokesperson for the council confirmed they had instructed the contractor to address the current issues as a priority to ensure the area is cleared.
