Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek al-Mulla witnessed the signing of a contract for establishing the first central cooling station using software/hardware interrupt systems in the New Administrative Capital on Sunday. He asserted that the ministry would establish additional central cooling stations in the coming stages of the New Administrative Capital. The project aims to provide a comfortable work environment in governmental and private offices in the New Administrative Capital. Gascool Chairman Mohammed Younis mentioned that the company would establish the central cooling station for the governmental and financial districts with a cooling capacity of around 60,000 tons per hour. He added that the company would run and maintain the station using the same methods the company applies for the cooling stations in the Smart Village and the American University in Cairo (AUC).
