They were charged a $691 contract cancellation fee when they moved to a home with no natural gas. The Better Business Bureau's Lower Mainland spokesperson Karla Laird says companies and consumers need to establish expectations in writing. "Writing ensures that it's not a case of his word versus mine," said Lower Mainland BBB spokesperson Karla Laird.
