Another 34 cases of infections were detected at Kwai Tsing container port, as Hong Kong reports 74 confirmed cases today. Among the 34, a vast majority of 33 people work for Wang Kee Port, whose more than 100 employees were sent to quarantine following a cluster outbreak. Chuang Shuk-kwan, Centre of Health Protection's communicable disease branch head, said the port is an area hit hard by the outbreak. Most infected staff worked outdoors and they used the same rest room for eating meals, resting and showering. The centre will distribute 7,000 to 8,000 sampling collecting bottles at the container port for tests.
