The Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC) over the weekend lamented that Nigerians, since 2018, have been paying around N16bn annually as container deposit fees to foreign shipping companies. “We at the NSC are currently working towards the removal of the container deposit fee payment by Nigerian importers.
