Bids for the construction of the P13.4-billion Kaliwa Dam project in Quezon province are scheduled for submission on May 11 with the contract award and signing set in August this year. Three Chinese firms have been prequalified to bid for the project — China Energy Engineering Co. Ltd., Power China Ltd., and the consortium of Guandung Foreign Construction Co.
