Granting review in the Mississippi case would signal the new conservative majority is ready to make a major change in the law. In November and December, the Mississippi case was taken off the weekly conference list and “rescheduled” for later consideration. But the Mississippi case has been missing — neither granted nor denied. The Mississippi law was also challenged by a medical clinic, not by women who were or could become pregnant. The appeal in the Mississippi case will be on the court’s conference list on Thursday morning.
