Given the way these three have performed during these 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs, it certainly would be fitting. A year ago, Kessel was a Maple Leaf, Hagelin a Ranger, Bonino a Canuck. And in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final Wednesday night at a rowdy CONSOL Energy Center, it was Sheary who brought his Penguins to within two victories of their fourth Stanley Cup in franchise history. Sheary and Murray were with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, while Rust was yo-yoing between the farm team and the parent club. If the Penguins win the title, maybe they’ll name one of the local roadways “HBK Street.”Hey, wouldn’t that be the perfect route to hold the Stanley Cup parade?
