In what was dubbed "The biggest fight in combat sports history", the five division world boxing champion Mayweather defeated the UFC star McGregor by tenth round TKO. The two weight UFC champion McGregor pocketed a $30 million purse for the fight, whilst Mayweather took home a whopping $100m. McGregor has not fought in boxing since the loss and Mayweather retired from professional competition after the fight. And recent research by 888sport has shown that McGregor is the second 'richest loser' in boxing history after his solo venture against Mayweather. After McGregor's $30m purse for the 2017 fight is adjusted for inflation, it's worth an estimated $32.6 million today.
