Tottenham have been closely linked with the England international, but it is London rivals West Ham who have made the first move, submitting a generous offer worth an initial £37m plus £3m in add-ons. Chelsea accepted the Toffees’ proposal, but the transfer never happened as Gallagher flat out refused to move to Goodison Park. Selling Gallagher would go a long way to funding the Ecuador international’s transfer to west London, but if they’re holding out for an improved bid from West Ham, they’re not in luck.
