A 32-year-old man duped the Noble-Socio Scientific Welfare Organization (NSSWO), on the pretext of providing them land for residential flats, and sold them a forged land that he had earlier sold four times. Police said the man has, so far, earned more than Rs 6 crores by selling the same land repeatedly in the past five years. Senior police officers said that the accused lived an extravagant life and spent all his money on foreign trips, for buying luxury cars and lived in a lavish rented house. “Gaikwad said the accused gave them assurance that the said land is his ancestral agriculture property and is free from all kinds of encumbrances. As per the agreement, the complainant paid Rs 1.44 crore to the accused as advance money.
