Congressman Cedric Richmond (D-La.) has apologized to Kellyanne Conway for a joke about “Couchgate” that was criticized for being crude and sexually suggestive. “I really just want to know what was going on there, because, you know, I won’t tell anybody,” Richmond said at the dinner, the Times-Picayune reported. The ‘90s reference was first made at the dinner by Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C), before Richmond spoke. Conway, Chelsea Clinton and Republicans immediately lambasted the comments.
