CBSE students protest over the alleged paper leak, at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, on Thursday. 29 (PTI): The Congress on Thursday demanded that the government sack HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar and CBSE Chairperson Anita Karwal following reports that the Class 10 mathematics and the Class 12 Economics papers had been leaked. The party is also demanding a judicial probe by a high court judge, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala told reporters here. Terming the issue “unfortunate”, Javadekar, whose Human Resource Department ministry oversees the CBSE, has said the culprits will be punished. Over 2 million students have been affected by the CBSE’s decision to hold fresh examinations in the two subjects.
