New Delhi, Sept. 26: The Congress today sacked its Bihar chief Ashok Chowdhary, days after his alleged plot to split the party to bolster chief minister Nitish Kumar was exposed. Organisational general secretary Janardan Dwivedi announced Chowdhary's removal this evening. The high command was under intense pressure to remove him at the earliest as he was allegedy still trying to lure away MLAs for the JDU.
