These Vancouver Giants are a confounding bunch. And sure enough, the Giants came away with a 3-1 win over the Memorial Cup national championship host team. Their power play was last in the WHL at the Jan. 10 trade deadline, sitting at 11.7 per cent (15-for-128). The victory moved the Giants (20-20-3-2) to four points shy of the Rockets (23-21-1-2) for third spot in the B.C. The Giants have 23 games remaining, starting with a Friday tilt against the visiting Kamloops Blazers at the Langley Events Centre.
