Both have made impressive starts to the season, with United top on goal difference, with Chelsea hot on their heels in third. And both go into their weekend matches boosted by victories in their Champions League openers, although midfielder Paul Pogba looks set to miss out with a hamstring problem. And Silva's side believe playing City straight after a European trip could give them a chance to cause an upset. Champions Chelsea, who also won their first Champions League group match in midweek, and with Arsenal the visitors on Sunday, they know they have to recover quickly.
