ISLAMABAD: First International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education will be held under the theme “Impact of Quality Enhancement Practices” at Khyber Medical University Peshawar from December 18. The two-day conference would continue till December 19 where national and international experts would share their experiences with students, an official of Higher Education Commission (HEC) informed. The sub-themes of the conference would include good quality assurance practices in imparting knowledge, skills and research at HEIs, significance of feedback of the stakeholders focusing on employers and alumni. He said that this conference would provide a platform to the QECs managers, faculty members and stakeholders to contribute and participate in the event. National and international members of accreditation council would find this event appropriate for their experience sharing, the official added.
