Conejo Valley's school board hopefuls will face voters next week in an online candidates' forum Tuesday, jointly hosted by the Ventura County Star and League of Women Voters. The Zoom webinar will pit competing slates of candidates for Conejo Valley Unified School District Trustee Areas 2, 3 and 4, starting at 6:30 p.m. Conejo Valley's nonpartisan school board races have become a contentious proxy battleground between liberal and conservative activists. Goldberg, an education advocate also running for a second term, will face mother and businesswoman DeDomenico in Area 4.
