The driver then tried to recover the truck back onto the road, hit a Mitsubishi car and rolled over onto a motorcycle, killing the rider. Chatraporn Moonyai, a 31-year-old woman from Surat Thani, died at the scene. Kusoldarm rescue workers attended the scene and the child was transferred to Vachira Hospital. The driver of the truck, which belongs to Siam City Cement, fled the scene. Police believe that his driving at high speed was the cause of the accident.
