The comic actor has been announced to join the cast of Marvel's upcoming TV show Legion in a multi-episode role. Series director Noah Hawley announced the news on Instagram, posting a photo of Clement with the caption: "Expect the unexpected". Clement's pal and What We Do In the Shadows co-star and co-director Taika Waititi is also a part of the Marvel universe, currently directing Thor: Ragnarok in Australia.
