Speaking to reporters, Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo said President Rodrigo Duterte was “concerned” about the incident. “Yes, of course… The President is concerned that’s why he’s waiting for the result of the investigation, the whys and the wherefores of the accident,” Panelo said during a press conference, when asked if Duterte would hold accountable those responsible for the incident. “The management of that outfit has already apologized to the public and is conducting an investigation on that matter. The President will be waiting for a report of the incident,” he added.
