Show Director Janice Leung says that the One of a Kind Marketplace is a stepping stone for young, emerging makers to test out their ideas and build their audience. Emily Blythe makes creatures out of clay that she sells in her Etsy shop and at markets. ( Emily Blythe )Swimming Fox Studio Emily Blythe makes whimsical creatures out of clay from her Hamilton-based art studio that she also sells in her Etsy shop and at markets throughout the year. It’s what I love creating,” says Blythe who is participating in the Marketplace section at The One of a Kind Show. Soon after friends and family started asking her for her creations and her business, Modern Plant Life was born.
