ElectroNet contract manager Dave Houston and Nelson Women's Refuge manager Diane Strong with a one-ounce gold bar the company donated to the refuge. A generous donation of a one-ounce bar of gold bullion will help a Nelson charity to support those parenting through difficult circumstances. The high voltage transmission and distribution company ElectroNet recently won the gold bullion in a competition run by Ideal Electrical. Its staff chose Nelson Women’s and Children’s Refuge, Nga Wahine Tamariki Punanga o Whakatu, as the recipient. “What these ladies must go through before they even make the call to refuge.”Braden Fastier/Stuff ElectroNet donated the one ounce gold bullion bar, with an estimated value of $2500, to the Nelson Women’s Refuge.
