The Department for Transport announced today that all passengers holding monthly or annual tickets will get their money back — potentially thousands of pounds each — while they work from home because of coronavirus. It was also revealed that passengers holding advance tickets for travel over the coming weeks and months will be able to claim a refund for unused journeys, reversing usual ticketing rules.
