Community members in the Merritt-area are saying goodbye to the historic Murray United Church after it burned down Jan. 11. The Murray United Church was burned down in January allegedly by an arsonist. Collection of remainsThe memorial service was held so community members could find closure, said Jack Polmans, a director at Trinity United Church. On the front of an urn that contains remnants of the church, is a picture of Murray United Church. The plaque on the top says, 'Remains Murray United Church Nicola B.C.
