Community Sports: MetroSport Forecast Challenge winner crowned

It was a keen battle for honours in the MetroSport Forecast Challenge this season with five pundits pitting their forecast expertise against each other every week in predicting the outcome of four selected English Premier League matches. Just like league champions Manchester City who dominated the league, Seremban-born Randeep led the standings from December 2017 and never looked back. StarMetro sub-editor Steven Daniel came in a commendable second with 1,100 points while fellow StarMetro sub-editor Pamella Lim, the only woman among the pundits, did well to come in third with 1,040 points. Shaun Orange emerged fourth with 970 points while StarMetro assistant editor Elantiraian Perumal ended up as the wooden spoonists with 950 points. The third edition of the MetroSport Forecast Challenge will start again when the 2018/2019 English Premier League season begins in August.
