Edidiong Umofia has won Team Nigeria’s second medal at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Adijat Olarinoye won Nigeria’s first medal at the Games on Saturday. She won Gold medal in the weightlifting event. In the Men’s Table Tennis event, Team Nigeria qualified for the semi-final after a hard-fought 3-2 win against Malaysia.
