The Court of Appeal has dismissed a case from the NZ Southern Rivers Society to have a judicial review of a decision to allow commercial rafting on parts of the river. An anglers group trying to get a judicial review of a resource consent to allow rafting operations on the Mataura River have lost in the Court of Appeal.
