A commercial jetboat has crashed in the Kawarau River near Queenstown. It was carrying 23 passengers when it was involved in an incident about 1km above the AJ Hackett bungy bridge, about 10.45am. "Five people were treated at the scene for minor injuries with one taken to hospital for further assessment," Thomas said. "The safety of our visitors and staff is a priority in everything we undertake," he said. "A full review of the incident will occur and the company is working closely with authorities."
