You can call it a waste of plastic, but your straw definitely isn’t going to end up in some sea turtle’s nose. The ocean plastic isn’t coming from Canada. In fact, more than half of it is coming from just five countries: China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The reason? They don’t have proper dumps.
