The minister said that it was Bangabandhu who bravely opposed naming Bangladesh as East Pakistan and named the country as Bangladesh. The GPO has issued a commemorative stamp of Tk10 denomination, an opening envelope of Tk10 and a data card worth Tk5. The Philatelic Bureau of Dhaka GPO will sell commemorative stamps, opening envelopes and data cards from Saturday.
