Domestic travellers carrying only hand baggage will soon get a dedicated corridor at Delhi airport. But to avail the facility, a passenger has to have either an e-boarding pass or a printout of web check-in. The Bureau for Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) is in the process of installing biometric system at Delhi airport. The Delhi airport handled about 15 million domestic departing passengers every year and this facility could also help smoothen operations. The passengers using this facility will not be able to mix with other passengers before the boarding area.
