As You Like It performances to benefit Alameda Food BankSummer is here, and it’s time for outdoor theater productions. Coming soon to the Healing Garden is none other than As You Like It, William Shakespeare’s witty 17th century rom-com that pits brother against brother, to be staged by Alameda’s community theater troupe, The Foodbank Players. Performances of As You Like It are set for July 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 in the Healing Garden, 1435 Webster Street, at 2 p.m. Admission is free, but donations to theAlameda Food Bank will be happily accepted. The Foodbank Players are sponsored by All Good Living, Santoro’s, Alameda County Arts Commission, Alameda Food Bank, Alameda Post, Daisy’s, West End Arts District, and the West Alameda Business Association.
