Supplied Thirty-three years may have passed since the original Coming to America, but Arsenio Hall and Eddie Murphy are still trying to sell the same outdated humour. Supplied Coming to America was first released in 1988. Like Crocodile Dundee 2, Coming 2 America is less a story continuation and more a plot-reversal remake. Quantrell D. Colbert Eddie Murphy attempts to pass the comedy baton to his onscreen son Jermaine Fowler in Coming 2 America with less than satisfying results.
