Share TweetBy Vanne Elaine TerrazolaThe Commission on Elections (Comelec) is working on 82 specific enhancements to its automated elections system (AES) in time for the midterm elections in May next year. Comelec Executive Director Jose Tolentino said a list of these enhancements have already been provided to the Joint Congressional Oversight Committee on the Automated Elections System (JCOC-AES). This is on top of the source code review of the vote-counting machines (VCMs), the election management system (EMS), and the consolidation and canvassing system (CCM). He said they might have been “confusion” over the automated system.
