A Gauteng based dairy product manufacturer is turning to a gas-fired combined heat and power system to deal with loadshedding and put it on a path to net-zero by 2050. The CHP system would allow Danone to recover waste heat in the form of steam and hot water, further reducing their carbon emissions.
