MANILA, Philippines — Columbian Dyip has officially signed top draft picks CJ Perez to a maximum pact and has also come to terms with two other draft selections in CJ Calvo and Jeepy Faundo. There’s nothing unusual there – except the ball club requiring Perez and Calvo to make a pledge to finish their college courses. We want them to obtain college degree,” said Columbian Dyip top official Bobby Rosales. Calvo is a graduating marketing student at Letran while Perez is pursuing a sports-related degree at Lyceum. Of course, Columbian hopes the draftees can attend both playing and their studies, and be able to help the Dyip be competitive in PBA Season 44 starting Jan. 13 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
