They swapped their formal uniforms for school track suits on Tuesday to take part in a series of orientation activities to get used to the redeveloped junior school. The project inspired Mrs Hogg, with junior school staff, to create a programme to teach pupils through acts of doing. Among the activities was an Amazing Race, in which year 0-6 pupils raced around the school in teams, learning something at each ‘‘pit stop’’. The junior school redevelopment and refurbishment is one stage of a broader programme.
