GEORGE TOWN: Mention cement mixer trucks and what normally comes to mind is the usual white-colour giant machines. Its colourful cement mixer trucks, dubbed "Happiness Trucks", made its debut on numerous streets in the city today. A total of 14 cement mixer trucks began its trip near the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge to Padang Kota Lama and Komtar, making a pit stop at all the important landmarks on the island. It is aimed to totally change the image and perception of the usual dirty and boring looking cement mixer trucks to colourful and vibrant trucks on the streets. Lafarge believes that turning cement mixer tankers and concrete trucks into works of art will enable people to view the city in a different perspective.
