LOS ANGELES — In a game that had been tight throughout, a Colorado team that had gone through a horrendous 11-game stretch, made the key plays down the stretch to overcome USC 69-65 on Saturday night. The Buffaloes (14-9, 5-6 Pac-12) won their third consecutive game to sweep their two-game series in Los Angeles against USC (13-11, 6-5) and UCLA. “Players make plays, and that kid makes plays,” Boyle said. After not having lost at home in the Pac-12, USC has now lost consecutive games. USC won the first meeting at home, 77-66.
