AFTER being delayed for a couple of weeks, collegiate sports are finally moving along as the commission en banc is looking to finalize the guidelines for collegiate sports training this Tuesday. “We just finished the public consultation and it will be discussed in the Commission and Bank this week. But what took long was the public consultation because when CHED formulated the rules and guidelines,” he stated. “We have a mandatory procedure for public consultation because you have more than a thousand public and private universities. So, we want to make sure that it’s adequately discussed before the commission issues any guidelines,” he added.
